Open Positions

Director, Control Systems (DCS)

Lead and manage a team of firmware engineers responsible for the development and maintenance of firmware for battery management systems. Oversee the development of new firmware features and functionality, including energy management algorithms and battery monitoring systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that firmware meets the needs of the overall product and system. Responsible for the oversight and execution of in-house SW solutions for product monitoring & control. Development and/or oversight of customer monitoring and control platforms solutions. Define and lead integration approach for system interface with third party controllers and PCSs. Manage and provide guidance to junior firmware engineers. Ensure that firmware is developed and maintained in a timely and efficient manner to meet high quality standards. Manage the firmware development budget and resources, including equipment and software licenses. Communicate effectively with upper management and stakeholders to provide updates on firmware development progress and address any issues that may arise.

REQUIREMENTS

    Requires Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Requires two years of experience in job offered, Electrical Engineer or related. Experience in firmware development, writing software code using IEC 61131 programming language, design of control systems for lithium-based battery energy storage system, development of energy savings algorithms for commercial and industrial applications is required.

    SALARY RANGE

    $235,000 to $250,000 annually
